Beast-in-a-Box

Well, we finally have the correct cables to connect the iPhone to the computer, so we can download some photos and videos.  We may add some more in a later post, from earlier in our trip.

For now, these are some photos of the Beast being put away in its container in Chennai, ready for the long sea voyage to Adelaide.

Chocking the wheels - the blocks of wood are nailed to the wooden floor of the container.

A tight squeeze, but I managed to drive it in and climb out the passenger door.

I had to lower the rear air springs to make the Beast clear the door with the roof tent on; this didn't leave a lot of room for the guy doing the chocking - just as well he's thin!

Front tie down point: wrap it around the steering guard.

Yep, those pieces of wood will stop it coming out...
